The purpose of a deck is not necessarily to sell and make money directly. At higher sponsorship levels, you don't send a deck and get a million dollars right away. The deck's purpose is to start a relationship, create interest, open a door, and get a conversation going. Through your deck, you need to show who you are, what you represent, and how a brand can fit into that. However, for smaller deals and product sponsorships, sometimes a deck is the first and only communication that determines a sponsorship.
